A7V133 Dead

I have a brand new Asus A7V133 with a duron 950. It is hooked up to the power supply, and is getting power, because the green led that indicates so is on. When I hook up the power switch and attempt to turn it on, nothing happens. The fans don't spin, absolutely nothing. I have tried it with two different power switches, and get nothing with both. The cpu came already seated, and the cpu fan is plugged into the motherboard.

Anyone know what is wrong here?

The power switch header requires the wire to be backwards compared to the rest of the headers (reset, HD activity, etc), if you know what I mean. Try flipping it 180 degress and hitting the power button on your case again.

Make sure the power selector switch on the PSU is on 120 volts. Pull out all the components and try running it outside of the case with just the CPU ram and video card (make sure these components are properly reseated)

Yeah try it only with the ram, cpu and video card in there. You might want to do this too. Take out the motherboard from the case, lye it down on the anti-static bag that it came in, and try starting it up like that. Your mobo may be grounding on something in the case. That's usually the case.
