A7V133 bios and Tekram U3W

Hi all Folks!
I need some informations about how to setup my motherboard.
I need to boot on my SCSI hard drive witch is setup as master(Win98SE on it). I had an other IDE HD only for mass storage purpose (not a system disk). The bios configuration with the ATA100 makes me some confusion. I was on the ASUS board/forum and find nothing.

In the BIOS find the Other Boot Device: part in the boot menu... change it from Network (Int 18) to SCSI/Onboard ATA100 then move it up to right after Floppy (Or CDROM if you want to boot off CDROM).

Then scroll down and find SCSI/ATA100 Boot Sequence and change it to SCSI/ATA100 from ATA100/SCSI.

I had a second question with the above setup could I use use a RAID array without having problems ?

How would two IBM 75 GXP in RAID 0 perform in comparison with a Quantum 10 K 2 ?

Are they any non commercial test on the web between SCSI HD and a raid 0 array with two top IDE HDD?

Sorry a third question : which is the best IDE setup (Master/Slave/IDE1/IDE2) with those equipments and why:
1 HD (IBM 45Go 75 GXP),
1 DVD Pioneer 115,
1 Plextor PX161040A,
1 ZIP 250Mo.

RAID will give you a read performance boost, but SCSI is still all around better.... the access time on the 10K SCSI will still be lower.. and the writes will be faster.

ATA100 Primary: DVD Pioneer 115
ATA100 Secondary: Plextor PX161040A, ZIP 250
Promise ATA100 Primary: IBM HD

You could put the zip on either channel really... Or even the Promise Secondary channel... I know you shouldnt put CDRoms or DVD on the Promise controller.... not sure about a ZIP drive, thats why I recommened it on the normal IDE channels.
