If I run a game and then quickly quit and reboot and enter BIOS, my cpu temperature is about 10 degrees cooler than what was reported through the Probe. I know that the motherboard is trying to guess the core temperature based on what it feels, but which of these numbers incorporates the guess? Just wondering if the BIOS temp is the raw temperature, and the Probe is the adjusted ( +10 ) temperature that is supposed to reflect the core temperature.

thanks.

the A7V's report higher temps than the real ones.
sorry - but I'm no expert on this subject - you need to talk to Mikewarrior2

here's a bump hoping Mike see's this (I'm sure he will eventually - this has gotta be one of his favourite forums :p
