ok...some info on this would be apreciated...is it true that a7v over compensate somewhat on the temp reading or does it fall far too short of the mark, because i heard both things being said about it...the only thing everyone agrees on is that the probe is inacurate...on my setup,i get 53-57,from just watching the probe to after a few hours of gaming...the case temp is 30-32...but the thing is,when i open the case after gaming, its relly not that hot...certainly not as hot as my cel 433 case used to get and no where near my old k6 200(i used to heat my bedroom with it during winter)...and neither of these were ever unstable....i'm getting a tysol hsf, just to be on the safe side but should i be panicking right now?

I don't know about the a7v over compensating, but my duron 600@950 gets pretty warm too touch. at least compared to my PII400@533 at stock voltage. I set my voltage to 1.8 in the bios. the asus probe software says the voltage is 1.872. ouch! my temp at idle is around 53C. after playing a few hours on counter-strike it runs around 57C. I also run my computer with the side of case removed. I put it on once. my temp shot up and my computer froze. I have a pretty large case too. not quite full tower, but it's large enough to where no devices overlap the top of my motherboard. I'm using an Alpha heatsink with 60mm YS-TECH fan. i also have rev 1.02.
