A7V and New Chassis Fan - Can't monitor it

I got an Asus A7V v 1.01 which I added a 80mm 3 wire Case Fan with built in thermistor. In Bios and PCPROBE 2.12 the fan takes a while to register. In PCPROBE though it disappears and the RPM's go to 0. I'm using Bios ver. 1004a. I have 1004c & d just haven't had the heart to flash to them. Any Ideas guys?

flash it. asus update will flash your bios in windows i believe, but i'm not positive on that. asus update is on the asus motherboard cd by the way.

Is the fan a low rpm fan, meaning below 2500rpm, then the mb will have slight difficulty reading it, it will read it though, the abit can't read anything below 2500, you have to use the diviosor of 4 in motherboard monitor.

Come on guys! Anyone out there that's been monitoring their chassis fans on an A7V? I just updated my bios to 1004D and PCProbe 2.12.3 to no avail. It's still happens to dissapear after a few seconds in PCProbe.

Seems I'm not the only one. Not to disrespect Anand but I posted the same problem at Tomshardware and somebody posted that they had the same problem and he wondered if he was the only one. I ask again does anybody else have the same problem?
