Anyone having success with the Asus A7V and firewire/USB2.0 combo PCI cards with either W2k or Win XP? I've tried BIOS 1003 (my original) and BIOS 1011 (latest I've found).
BIOS 1003
W2k/sp3 and Win XP/sp1:
boots with the card but gives random reboots when a firewire device is connected to the combo card.
BIOS 1011
Win XP/sp1:
won't boot past a msg saying the combo card shares IRQ settings with the Promise IDE controller.. make sure the card supports IRQ sharing.
Any thoughts?
