Firstly, peripheral specs:

A7V
Sblaster Live Xgamer
Asus V7100 Geforce 2 mx- AGP of course
Maxtech Xpv56p cheapo(but still pretty damned good) modem

Ok, I want to know if anyone has these same specs(or pretty close to it) and has been able to get a dual monitor setup working. I would like to know which pci video card you used in conjunction with your geforce family or ge2 family AGP card, and what IRQ you set it to.

If you post on this thread, please help me out by telling me which sound and video cards ---- and irqs-----you had and please stick something here only if you ran it in an A7V.

Thanks in advance for the help.

some video cards don't require an IRQ, older cards actually.

my matrox mystique (the original) does not require an irq. windows assigns it an irq, but since it does not need it, there are no conflicts.

the same can be said of my banshee card.

both of which were my secondary card one time or another.

No experience with dual-monitor setups personally, but... maybe try changing your GeForce2MX card for one with two VGA connectors? You can use the Twinview function of the MX chip, then.
