I didn't make it back to the forum in time to see if anyone posted so I'll ask again. I have had 4 A7N8X bases boards and they all have the same funny memory problem. When I use say a stick of DDR400 with a 266fsb chip it won't post. I stick in some PC2100 go set the FSB manually (to 133 or lower)in the bios then save and restart it will see the DDR400 ok but only after I go set the FSB manually in the bios first. I have 4 A7N8X based boards and they all do the same thing with every bios revision I have tried. Does anyone have a work around so I don't have to keep hunting down memory that matches the fsb of hte chip I use before I stickin some PC3200 or 3500? Thanks in advance to anyone with a clue......
