A7N8X-E Deluxe problems

Nocturnal

Computer is running 512x2 Crucial Ballistix PC3200 memory and each and every time I shut down the computer won't boot back up unless I clear the CMOS.

How and why did that work? Setting the voltage to 2.7 worked. How and why did that work? Is it safe to run it at 2.7 all the time?

They're rated for 2.8 volts (link to specs) and the A7N8X-E Deluxe defaults to only 2.5 volts, which makes your RAM look like this ---> 🙁~ they must not love me :brokenheart:

That mobo is very finicky about the memory you use in it.

Perhaps your memory isn't totally compatible with the mobo.

A great resource is:

Look through the sticky, search the archives, and if you can't find anything about Crucial memory and this mobo, just post a question (Senor Panadero, the moderator, is an awesome Asus resource).
