A7N8X Deluxe Memory Settings

Hi, I never really understood what to set the memory to so I've always left it at default. But I'm sure there is better setting to make better use of my installed memory.

What I have ( I hope this is the rite info )

A7N8X Deluxe rev 2.x
BIOS 1008 (not sure could be 1007)
2500+ Barton 333FSB - (set at 166MHz, Auto, 11.0x, Optimal)
Three Stick of CORSAIR XMM DDRAM 256M 32X64 PC-2700 C2
(set at AUTO, Optimal, 7,3,3,2.5T) I'm sure Dual-Channel is on.

Thank you
Jim

Your ram looks to be Cas. 2.0, but set-up as Cas. 2.5 You may also wish to try 11 or 10 in the place of the "7". I'm blanking on the term ATM, but nForce chipset mobo's seem to prefer a setting of 10 or 11 for best performance. You'll also want a command rate of 1T.

If I was you I would confirm what Corsair lists for the appropriate settings, (which s/b what the "SPD" setting does), then go into Advanced Chipset Features and select expert for mem timings which should allow you to adj the timings manually.
