A7n8x compatability question

I just heard that with the lastest Bios, any rev. of the A7N8X motherboard can be used to run a 400 fsb processor. i would just like to confirm this before i get out and buy it.

That is true for all Rev 2 boards regardless of bios version. For the 1.xx boards, the of purpose of the 1004 bios was to add official support for 400MHz FSB CPU's. Though I think 1006 is noticably more stable at 400MHz than 1004 was for my 1.04 board. If you have doubts about the A7N8X, then then Abit NF7-S is a sound alternative. Peace.
