A7N266-VM "ERROR": system intruded, chassis open or tempered before

Right when I turn on the computer I get:
"system intruded, chassis open or tempered before"

I can't figure out what jumper I need to cover.

what do I do?

That's a new one! 😕 You might try setting it to Halt On: No Errors, a setting found on the primary BIOS menu. Or try resetting the CMOS to default settings... I've never seen an A7N266-VM do what you've described. This is a retail-boxed A7N266-VM, not an OEM one?

I have same prob with retail box A7N266-VM- I have shorted to reset CMOS, etc. It automatically goes into BIOS,(after POST, one beep) then displays intrusion message! Cannot get out of BIOS- Suggestions appreciated

Ok guys, here's your answer:

• Put a jumper on the pins highlighted in this picture: link In this picture, there are only solder points, but the boards themselves will have pins there.
• When the motherboard boots and takes you to the BIOS, go to the last menu, select Save Settings, then Save Settings And Exit. This got me past the situation after I removed the jumper from the pins I've indicated in the picture.
