Are you sure you got it down past both rows of contacts in the AGP slot? There are two layers in there, so rock it end-to-end and push hard.

yep
i got it in well...is there an incompatibility problem at hand?
im not too sure of whats happened
eek...

Hmmm, well I'm looking in the manual and on page 30 they talk about the need to leave the plastic placeholder in the end of the AGP slot when using a non-AGP Pro card, and warn to use only 1.5V cards. Your card's ok... is the plastic placeholder in the righthand end of the AGP slot like they're depicting in the manual (or does your card occupy that area with its "tail")? You can download the manual here if you don't have a copy.

Hope it works out for you, good luck! 😀

i tried...i do not know wut to do...
AHHH! why wouldnt it be working?

the moment the connects go into the agp slot the light goes on...is that a signal for something?
lmk
thanks

The manual says it's a signal of an incompatible card. That doesn't make sense to me unless the card is faulty or something. What video card were you using before this?

I don't have a clue what the deal is, then. Can you test the 4200 in a different motherboard, got any other systems there?
