A70 strikes again: Here are some xmas light pics for you!

Yeah, I thought it was a little weird that they had a mini-house in with fully animated Mrs. Claus, a train going around beams on the ceiling, and other stuff.... sitting in front of their actual home.

Talk about an electric bill! I'm glad that a) I'm a Jew, and b) that my electric bill is only $20/mo.

My parents go crazy w/ it every year, but guess who gets to help..

and no, it isn't Rudolph.

Very nice. My pictures of christmas lights at night always look terrible. Did you just use automatic settings for them? I always manually set the stuff of my camera and auto looks no better.

Also, I'm not sure this is a limit of my A70 or me not knowing how to do it, but how would I make the lights in the pictures look more "crisp" ? The little bulbs themselves are kinda blurry, and I'd really like them to bite.

I took the pictures in manual mode... I think it was 1/14", F2.8, ISO 100.... light style Halogen H, etc. Auto focus, no flash on a tripod.

LOL, and I live in a multi-unit dwelling where heat from the unit below mine helps to heat my place. 🙂

Damn you live in a chicken coop with mesh flooring 😉
