Hello everybody.

I am testing my new pc with super pi (ver 1.1)@32M calculation.
Hardware monitor says that my cpu core reaches on average 69 degrees celcius.
The peak temperature was 75 degrees celcius.
The temperature according to easytune6 did not get higher than 34 degrees celcius. I assume this is the package temperature.
I want to ask from other A6700 owners what temperatures they see with HWmonitor 1.23. while performing the super pi calculation to compare if my system is ok.
I bought a Scythe shuriken revb cooler to keep things cool.
I do not see any problems while the systems is running and everything seems to run well.

To get 100 % cpu time going at all cores, i also started prime 95.

At 100% load, maximum temperature of the cpu package is 88 degrees celcius(190F).
Maximum temperature for the TEMPIN2 is 53 degrees celcius (127F).

When i try to download coretemp.exe as installer, my virus scanner kicks in and mentions the following : Install.QA or something like that found and refuses to download...
But, i downloaded the non install x64 zip instead.

Executed coretemp and running the torture test of prime95.
It mentions 4 cores.
TJ max is 80 degrees celcius.
CPU #0 : 37 degrees celcius max.

It displays that my 4 cores are running at 1900MHz @ 100% load.

VID is 0,975V

Looks like your CPU is not throttling. You didn't tell me what CoreTemp reports when all 4 cores are loaded in prime95? TJmax is a fixed value and is not the current temp. reading (TJmax is a critical temp. at which the CPU throttles itself)

Hi, frequency is jumping up and down. But Coretemp displays it at half the speed it seems. I see 1950MHz (x2 = 3900MHz) and i have seen 2099.99MHz(x2 = ~4200MHz). At 0%~1% cpu time, it is 899,99MHz(x2 = 1800MHz).

It displays only one temperature CPU #0 [3degrees celcius to 37degrees celcius]
Perhaps it is because i have the non install version x64.

Found the system information option in the tools menu :

For all 4 cores 37 degrees celcius max @ 100% load.

Multiplier numbers are going up and down between 17 and 19.50 now after a few minutes @ 100% full load.

W7 x64 sure knows how to multi task.

3.7Ghz is normal clock for your chip and 37C degrees according to CoreTemp is also normal. Up and down clock variation is due to power options being enabled. If you select High Performance in Power Options (in Windows) your clock should be set at maximum possible (with only Turbo kicking in when possible).
