Thanx for the tip but I already have a brand new system. I will probably get an a64 90 nm when it comes out and use my current system for a htpc. We'll see then if most of those old "quirks" are worked out.
 
i've been using AMD CPUSs since the K5 (PR133), and have been loving AMD ever since. went from the K5 to a K6-2, then to Athlon T-bird, Athlon XP, and in the process of switching to the A64. AMD has NEVER failed me, and I used to be pretty heavy into 3D gaming (getting back in since doom3 🙂 )
