I have just read the DTR post in the forum.
And have this question.
Does all DTR A64 have an OPN as AMA***** ?
What is the OPN ADA3400BEX5AP stand for?
I think ADA stand for desktop.
But B after 3400 stands for lidless package, what is the difference between lidded and lidless package?
And X stands for 90°C,is it used in desktop A64?
I will think ADA3400AEP5AP as the normal OPN,but what is this?
You can find one picture on
http://www.ttpz.com/info/644.htm
It does have IHS.

basically the difference between lidded and unlidded is the integrated heatspreader

teh DTRs do not have one
the normal desktop processors do....

i also believe that the DTR's require a bios that supports mobiles to work in desktop boards

Thank you for the reply.
But what is the model I put forward?
It is unlidded, but has integrated heatspreader?
Does integrated heatspreader be refered to the plate covered the CORE?

Is it possible for AMD to rebuild the Cover for A64 DTR?
Or it is done by others to make profit?

the AE.... is the lidded normal desktop
The BE... is the unlidded DTR chip

yes, the IHS refers to the plate that covers the core...

so when you visit newegg and click A64 chips... you'll see some with big white things on top of the chip.. those are the IHS.... and if you look at the DTR models, you'll see no big white thing... what you are looking at is the core of the chip...

If you are getting DTR, then make sure you have SLK-948U heatsink with you.
