A64 Motherboard help

I'm in the process of building my new system, and I got everything figured out, except for the Motherboard.

Im not going to OC, so I basically want a stable and cheap motherboard. I narrowed it down to these 2, any suggestions on which to get?

Any other motherboards you guys would suggest that are relatively cheap, and stable?

i use the msi k8n neo platinium, so i would get the msi board there. no problems with mine. i would suggest getting an aftermarket heatsink for the north bridge if you do get that motherboard

I'm not sure which MB is better but I do know the A64 is demanding about memory. You might want to read what Mushkin has to say about A64 Memory.

I own the MSI but it's hard to vote against Asus. They have a very solid reputation for good reason.

Cheap and good - get the Asrock K8S8X or the Chaintech VNF-250.

Chaintech vnf3 is a great boardm they just need to resolve some temp issues

Thanx for the Chaintech VNF3 suggestion. I think im going with that board. Found one for $74 US + shipping to Canada, is that a fair price for one?

I have it, but i would'nt get it. Sure its cool, but too many issues with temps and when u actually update the bios it screws up the ram speed if you're trying to overclock. Get teh epox
