im running:

asus a8v v2.0 bios 1009.005 (beta)
a64 3000+ 90nm @ 2250 (250 @ 1.5v) on air
pdp 512 dual channel xbl (2.5 3 3 6 @2:1 @ 2.8v)
geforce 4600 ti
adaptec 29160
quantum atlas 10kII 9g
seagate 160g pata
plextor ultraplex40
pioneer 303s
ipod cradle (1394 connector)
usb flash card reader
usb2 pioneer dvd-r (externally powered)
antec sl350

it can p95 all day long (20+ hours), and runs fine almost all the time. i run into a problem when playing counter-strike source (so far that ive noticed) and it locks up. just freezes and sits. this could very well be steam or cs:s related but initially my suspicion pointed to the power supply. i really dont have that much in the machine and the winnie uses less power from what ive read but wasnt sure if there are others out there with similar setups and 350w? (or of course any other ideas or feedback would be helpful!)

also i should mention before i was running at 2350 (261 @ 1.65v) and it would spontaneously reboot which made me really think it was power. anyways any ideas?

MarkFW900's had a similar limit on that board...he could pass prime but would have early end units in FH...

I dont know is it possible quirks with the board?? I have not seen any real great oc's off of that board...not very common say versus the DFI, Epox, or MSI boards...

I have the DFI 250gb ut...

Marks board was an Asus....with a winnie on it...

MOst of the other times when there has been obvious limits it has been fixed with bios updates....MSI notably....

I wouldn't rely on CS:S as any sort of stability test. It's my belief that it isn't very ...well written... if you will. It's crashed on every computer I've played it on, several of which are rock solid stable and at stock settings.

haha yeah im thinking cs:s isnt really the best 'test'. i just wasnt sure how i stand on the power issue. if it wasnt source or power then im thinking its the board as .. its kinda wacko. im really waiting on some bios improvements 🙁
