A64 3500's memory controller broken?

At first...I thought it was my motherboards having issues, but after switching to another, I still have the same issue. I cannot seem to run 1gb of ram...the computer won't post or anything if I have that much in. Does this mean my cpu's mem controller is having issues?
 
You need to give us more info than that. I.E. CPU and RAM type, timings etc. How many stick are you trying to run and at what speeds?
 
oh, sorry bout that, they're samsung tccc ram. and yes, they work fine individually. the worked fine together in my p4 setup a little while back too. however, i just can't seem to use em with my a64.
