Well, Alex, that's true, but who is going to be making these boards? Now that I think about it, I'm thinking you'll be able to choose between ECS and ECS, when it comes to getting a socket 740 board with the nForce3-250.
The good board makers hardly ever back something that isn't going to be around very much longer.
