Okay guys, i just upgraded from Barton 2500+ OC'd to 3200+ to an A64 system:

A64 3000+ S939 Winchester
Epox 9NDA3J NF3
MSI NX6600GT AGP
Patriot 1GB 3200 XBL 400Mhz to 533Mhz

A64 OC'd 39% from 200 HT X 9 = 1.8Ghz to
277 HT X 9 = 2.5Ghz
with HT X3

Ram at 3-4-4-8 1T 1:1

Vcore from 1.37 to 1.55
Vdimm 2.8

Idle 31C
Load 41C

Using Zalman 7000B CuAl

Prime95 and memtest86 stable.

One question:
Default chipset voltage is set at 1.61 , would I get a higher OC if I were to bump this up? Increase chipset voltage to what value?

are you using slots 3 and 4 for mem?

Chipset? I used 1.65 for 315Mhz. 1.65 won't hurt anything... BTW On your mem, You should try 3-4-3 1T I had that same mem and could do those timings up 300Mhz.

i have the 9nda3+, his board is slightly different.

but you can go to 1.65 if you want, it shouldnt hurt anything, but you might want to lower ram to a 4:5 divider, because that might start holding you back if you go any higher

I'm using slots 1 and 2. Why should I use 3-4-3? Is that the only way to increase HTT? I will try to up the Vchipset to 1.65.

When I had it at 290 x 9, the pc would reboot when prime95 was run. Do you think a Vchipset of 1.65 would make any difference. For that matter, would changing the timings to 3-4-3-8 1t 1 from 3-4-4-8 1t 1 make any difference?

BTW what temps please?

I'm getting memtest86 errors now that I set memclock at anything above 100. I have to run at ddr-278 inorder to get stable readings at 278x9= 2.5Ghz . This is even at 3-4-4-8 1T. Any suggestions? I'm alrdy thinking of RMA'ing my Patriot XDL ram back to newegg now in exchange for Corsair Value Ram.

system : A643000+ .90nm oc'd as above.
Vcore 1.55
Vdimm2.8
Vchipset1.65
