I guess stepping is a mute point since they all apear to be D0 stepping as listed at overclockers.com....

Thanks Zebo!!!

Need to get this in but I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow and haven't backup my data from my primary drive before I reformat!!!

Also need to figure how that comcast guy set up my cable modem so I can reestablish it and do all the sp2 updates

Best ones I've seen are 0441-0444...later date obviously. So many steppings I havn't seen a trend in my cursory review of many sites like xtreme/overclockers etc..MPMW, SPMW, WPGW, VPBW etc... no trend yet.

I went from a week 36 CBBFG XPBW to a week 40 CBBGD RPEW and was able to get a better O'clock(currently at 2.565 Ghz at 1.5v up from 2.4 Ghz on the old chip). The funny thing is that as soon as I installed the new chip, my A8V limited my max Vcore setting in the Bios to 1.5v. :confused:

My 3200 winchester says

ADA3200DIP4BE
ABBDD 0415UPAW
FA00735E40102

This is an engineering sample though and the date appears to be much older than the ones I'm seeing around here. Does anyone recognize that DIP4BE thing? (different from the usual DIK4BIs) I have no idea how well it overclocks; I should be getting the motherboard and other stuff I have ordered for it sometime next week.

nothing comes up. Might have been some internal AMD revision that never made it into the market.

D = Socket 939,
I = 1.4V
P = 70*C Case Temp (Where K = 65*C)
4 = 512kb L2 Cache
BE should be the same Core Rev as BI...

Let us know how well this BE Rev OC...
