HE tried to stick his fingers IN A GUYS ASS. ok i wrestled for years and NEVER seen that move. it is NOT a legit move and most of the guys i know if you tried that on would kick your ass during (with legit moves) and after the match.

sure there are some err pretty gay looking moves (hip ride anyone? heh) but NONE of them have you trying to stick anything in your opponent.

While a lot of coaches teach this from a standing position, we were pretty strict and only did a variation of the move from the mat. It's a move where you nudge your opponents "gear" to get their cooperation when trying to move them into a pin. It's an effective offensive move.

I'm assuming that the wrestler probably used the anal rapage move as an offensive move... First off, it seems odd that he would pick this as a favorite move and use it over and over... We did have moves that we liked to use, but traditionally, you practice sets of moves... This will probably get sent to juvanile court....or thrown out. I just wonder how popular this kid is and whether or not he's a victim of social rings in his school.

You were taught incorrectly. Th point of a turk is to elevate the leg in an attempt to decrease his range of motion and allow you to score back points, control him and work for another move, or tp oin him. The point is not to knee him in the balls.

I would think the best defense to a move like this is to moan and ask for his phone number.

If your wish isn't to be grabbed, fondled or molested by other men - why would you be wrestling in the first place?

Wrestler = closet homo if you ask me

Simply put, you guys that are saying this stuff are complete idiots. You don't know anything about the sport, so stop commenting on it.

As described in the courtroom testimony ---- the move is one where the wrestler jams his finger up the rear of the other wrestler. The intent is to actually pierce the clothing or singlet. I have talked to a lot of guys in the last week that wrestled in South Dakota over the past 30 years and none had heard of it ---- all were upset about the comments made by the Parker coach.

Back in the day I have heard reference to a "Harley ________ ride which you may have heard about. Very different and usually resulted in the guy getting pounded after the match.

Reminds me of the case of John Hopoate, a rugby league player who was banned for 12 weeks for sticking his finger up other players assholes. He was disgraced across Australia and New Zealand and is now infamous for his ass-poking. Just Google "john hopoate" and look at the first page of headlines. Here's a classic picture:

Of course in Australia people don't get charged with rape for this sort of thing, but we're not all as obsessed with litigation as USA

heh nope. but i can see why people think so. some of the moves are kinda "gay".

but i started wrestling at a early age. i enjoyed the 1 on 1 competition. i was to small for football, never really got into baseball and to short for basketball. not to mention i get pissed when someone does not try 100%.

but to say that all wrestlers are homo's is insane.

Waggy, what weight class were you in your competition years?

I am thankful there is another wrestler on the boards sticking up for our sport!

I don't honestly believe that all wrestlers are homo's, but I would believe personally that this kind of thing is par for the course. Listening to others it seems that almost everyone has seen moves that others would find offensive, and it simply to be expected in the sport, and that is honestly why I never had any desire to join the wrestling team.

they actually have co-ed wrestling? I assume this is for 10 year old kids only.

Nope, can happen in highschool and college too. If a female wants to join the team, in most cases she needs to be allowed to if there is no women's wrestling team.

This will not help my case for wrestling being a great sport, but...

A girl that wrestled all though middle and high school in my district (not my school) ended up being a porn star for one of the top companies.

BTW,

On my highschool wrestling team, we knew of a move similar to this, but definately did not involve penetration.

It was called "the water". When the oponent was on all 4s and you were crouched behind him, you'd take your hand and sort of do a reverse karate chop motion right into their butt. You would do it quick and with force but no pentration was involved, and it was done right before doing another move, like knocking out their arm. the force against the rectum would either catch them off guard or cause them to lurch forward which was a good setup for another move.

I dont think this move was illegal or anything (if it was, the ref never saw it) but wrestlers only used it sparingly, since it was kind of a cheap move. and we never used it on our own teammates.
