A wise purchase?

It might seem like a good purchase at first, but you'll give that stapler to someone, later have to take it away when they're fired, and return the next day to an office in flames.
 
Are those still expensive compared to normal black staplers?
I kinda want one, anyway.

It's the modle 747 swingline. For some reason, its black counter-part is $1.40 more expensive @ wbmason.com (where we buy our office supplies).

Seemed like a no-brainer to me.
