For stocks, I can look at their price trends on various websites, for computer parts, anandtech has a way of tracking the price of computer parts, but what about the sale of used cars? I can't keep logging into the SLOOOW KBB website whenever I want to the see the selling price of their cars and it's difficult to keep track of the trends a particular car may have sold for in the past, so I was hoping someone would be aware of a site that would do this for me.

not sure.. but KBB is a dealer's best friend.. their prices are so skewed towards the dealer, it's not funny. i wouldn't doubt if they receive some sort of kickback for their low trade in prices.

I don't think I've seen KBB price trends show anywhere, but dealers do have price trend information. Manheim auction reports gives 2 month (Mar 09), 6 month (Nov 08), and 1 Year (May 09) historical price averages. These prices are going to be well below retail as they're dealer auction result, but they will show you the trend for a specific car. If you got something in mind just post the car (or PM me) and I can pull the report.
