*"Warning: This message might includes a link from someone that's trying to hack paypals' accounts. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT click on any link I am showing below beside the link of the picture."

Link the picture

This is what I got in my mail. It looked like a message and a real link at first. However, I feel a little itching about this so I tried to copy the url to run some tests...And look at what I found!!!. A picture display the paypal message, but it links to somewhere else....I think it probably some home made html/cgi/php/ect....to make it look like Paypal so it can tricks people account.

And below is that link I expected of
http://shmdweb.sheridanbtl.es/pls/paypal.com/revalidate/uservalidate.htm

Check it out guys. Tell me if I've been working to hard and exausted myself to the point of imaginging this story.

es is estonia, isn't it?

That should set off warning lights if it hasn't already.

It is one of hundreds of phishing scams being sent out under the guise of paypal.

If you want to, you can register on http://www.antisource.com and Submit an article on it, and I will categorize it under Phishing. Only if you want to. ;)

View the source, and you'll see that the "link" is actually going to another site, probably something like "paypal.userlogin-2666.info" or something like that. The trick is to look at the actual domain, in Paypal's case it'd have to be "paypal.com/", not "paypal.com.info/", which would definitely take you somewhere other than Paypal.

When in doubt, open up a browser, and manually type in their website address. NEVER click links in emails.
