That's not how chargeback works. The chargeback you are supposed to file is for the whole order.

But I guess you didn't want to do it because you still want the rest of the drums?

I did it under POOR GUIDANCE of my bank. Had I been told it was not possible, then I would have contested the entire order.

This is just too stressful for me on so many levels. I'm done with it. I'm just cutting my losses and I'm done with it. My mental health isn't worth this crap.

maybe do one last followup/plea saying that the bank hosed you and now you're out of options?

I'll give them a call on Monday. Tomorrow is Veterans day, and my birthday, so I won't want to deal with it *and* they won't be open anyways. 😛

You could try calling the bank again and ask to speak with a supervisor - explain that you were instructed to file an improper partial chargeback and you'd like to contest the entire charge now.

Chargeback the entire order and go somewhere else. They are counting on you getting tired of the run around and giving up. Don't fall for it. It's now about the principle of the matter and the word of a business. Give everything back, write up a bad review about the place and take your hard earned cash somewhere else where you'll get the service you deserve.

this is a common tactic..... offer a sale with an in-store coupon that you forget to let the cashier scan, and by the time you get home it's not worth it to drive back to the store to have it adjusted.....
