I have a progressive DVD player and a HDTV box, and one component video input on the set. Is there an inexpensive A/B type switch for this?

Thanks DanJ

Must have used the wrong search criteria. These units look the same. Wonder if they are?

If you want to save some bucks you can buy a video composite multiswitch from Radio Shack for 30$ that will carry the 50 mgz bandwith needed for 1080i. We tested these units out over at the Hometheater forum and AVS and they do work without any loss in PQ.

Looking for it at the site, but I am not sure I see it.

Thank you gentlemen. This is a great help. Have the DVD hooked up on non progressive, and it is distinctly lacking in quality.

How much did your HDTV tuner set you back?

I got to get one...

My TV has two component inputs so I'm cool there.

I dont have a tuner because I have HDTV through Comcast. If I were watching broadcast TV, then that would be different. Sorry I can't help there.

Thanks for the link Dr., now I know the exact model to buy

Separate issue, but for all the crap Radio Shack seems to get, they have pulled my butt out of the fire on more than one occasion. If they folded, I couldn't find half the stuff I sometimes need.
