"Ok that does it. What the f*ck is the matter with you? Woman bashing? You stupid i love you loving moron. You suck."

link

While we might not have that many homosexual members, it offends those that we do have and it was done in a derogatory manner.

Felix has been given a vacation for his offense.

I agree - FelixDeKat should be enjoying a vacation also, expecially since he was really the one who stepped out of line. Millennium replied the way he did to illustrate his point, but it's obvious that some "people" just can't handle it.

Mil used slurs.... those werent allowed, he got banned... ok

I guess the point of this thread is to find out if "F*g" is a bannable slur as well... which is should be especially when used in a derrogatory sense..

that shouldn't even have to be stated.

none of our statements should be judged out of context. if you took that as a baseline, EVERYONE would be banned because ALL words can be turned into something offensive out of context.

if you don't think that i love you taken out of context can be exceedingly lewd and offensive, you are even more naive than the rose you posted. :)

And you wonder why the best members of this site slowly trickle away

well that kind of explains why we are still here corpee....

anyways, my $.02: I dont get how Felix gets away with his comments, but thats here no there. I dont think Mil's comments warranted a vacation, but its the mods call, not ours.

Millennium was rather tasteless in his original comment where he advocated the murder of someone, but if he was banned for the homosexual slur, I feel that FelixDeKat deserves the same treatment. Such blatant favoritism and double standards do not make AT a free and open place.

Some form of moderator accountability for such is a nice idea that well deserves a second look, but sadly it'll never happen here.

millennium often posts flamebait and other derogatory remarks. I'm sure the mods took that into account.

Edit: he reminds me of a younger version of texmaster.

I cannot agree with the Mod's decision to ban Millennium. I think it was unfair and biased.

I agree with the mods choice to ban Millenium, but I don't agree with not banning FelixDeCat.

While the mods can't retroactively change the rules, why not make what Felix said a bannable offense from this point foward?

Taken in context, in that thread, it was apparent that Millenium was getting out of hand and crossed the line. As previously mentioned, Millenium does have...a rough edge, and has no qualms about speaking his mind.

Although I think FelixDeKat should have gotten banned too, even if he does have a cool nick.

Agreed. He was just reciting a laundry list. He wasn't using them as slurs, such as calling someone one of those slurs.

A month off for that? I think not.

Millennium probably deserved a timeout for listing all of the words, he could have done it tastefully, but a 2 day timeout would have suffificed. There is no need to ban him for a month and let FelixdeCat off with no punishment.
