a tour of the anandtech offices?

i'm going to be in town over the weekend and was wondering if you guys knew if Anandtech gave tours of thire offices ....anybody know
i think it would be cool!

Offices?! From what I understand, the servers are kept at the provider, and Anand just works out of his house

but what about all the people who contribute articals? where do they do all thire testing? there's got to be an office!

you would be hard pressed to find anandtech offices

They do all the testing (or the majority) in the attic of the house. Not all the contributors work there exclusively, either. They are slightly spread out across the Eastern US... AFAIK.

Actually, they recently (earlier this year, I think) built themselves a lab with something like 14 workstations for testing. They've moved up a little from the bedroom.

it's good to see that a buisness started in somebodys home can get this big and still be based at home.

All of you are a little off. Anand has moved to a new place. He went from a tiny, closet-like atmosphere to a nice sized workroom, and he does most of his testing from the workroom. The Anandtech team does some work at his place and some they do at their own homes. He has four or five workstations in the workroom, but he can have many more for special occasions, all of which deal with work, of course (lan partyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I could not find it but their was an article on the site about the remodelling of the new lab. must have been over a year ago I think.
