If you're going to get upset with children who walk on your lawn one night a year, you shouldn't give candy out at all.

Just keep a Super Soaker (or the hose) right by the door so you can blast anyone that's a jackass. Even better, fill the Super Soaker with something that smells real nice...
 
It's simple, on that night i'm at the bar. No candy to give out, lots of girls in 'costumes' (apparently this is an excuse to dress like a slut). And I get to drink beer.
