Last December I got my rig and on purpose I bought a x79 So I would be ready for Ivy E. Future proof CPU. 12 thread monster 22nm Ivy, 🙂
Now to the TIM . Me and my dad bond over PC builds.. so we had this thermalpaste a cheap one my dad spread it every where covering whole CPU... I nice big gulp. everywhere. I think it was too much and making temp worse cuz TIM placement and ammount matters.
For my next 4930k I want to make 2 thin lines and a tiny big right on the middle.
My temps should be 40's idle and 80's full load. gl
