Hi guys,

I just returned from Florida where I was doing some business over the last week (well, was stuck there for about 4 days as I couldn't fly home) and I have to give credit to Americans. (I am a Canadian) After what happened on Tuesday, I could not believe how people came together to support their country. EVERYWHERE we went, there were flags all over the place, people had American flags tied to antennas on their cars, stores had flags in the windows, there were flags on tons of light poles along the streets, it was just incredible. I was VERY impressed and sincerely hope that this unity and resolve will persevere and that those who attacked the greatest nation in the world will pay. Don't get me wrong, I love Canada, but I sure as heck am impressed with the US people right now.

<< are canadians sporting american flags too? i wonder... >>

some are, but few people ever hang a flag, be it canadian or something else.

The only flags you see around here are for the Toronto Maple Leafs, when they're heading into playoffs. I haven't seen any American flags on the street, than again, I haven't been downtown since I've returned. This is why I'm so impressed with the US.
