Over the past six months, I've visited these boards reading posts about building experiences and component choices, and I finally made the plunge. With the help of all of you, I picked out the parts that worked best for me and put it together this weekend. Then, when I couldn't get it working straight away, it was you guys again who helped me out.

It's running just great. I've been using my college laptop for the past five years, and upgrading to a new machine - and one with a 22" widescreen LCD - is amazing. Most of all, it lets me play Oblivion with 8xAA and boy does it look pretty : )

So thank you to everyone here who directly helped, and to the rest of you who helped others and, by doing so, helped educate me.
 
This is a great place to get answers to your questions, unbiassed and experienced answers. I too would like to say Thank You!
 
Same here... Anandtech taught me a ton about computers, and I was able to build 3 computers up to this date. On top of this, I fixed several computers for friends and family and solved their problems both software and hardware wise. Thank you Anandtech!
