A suggestion for gun threads in the future...

Ok, so gun rights threads end up degrading into slug fests and a lock...

Rather than have the same people argue the same points over & over, how about locking gun rights threads or moving them to P&N, leaving the sporting type questions & threads in OT?

Threads like this Why do people (Americans) like guns so much? are like throwing lighter fluid on a campfire in OT. We all know it'll spiral into a lock given enough time.

Just a thought...

I agree. It doesn't belong in P&N as it is not politcal, and moving it there will certainly devolve the thread into a 'tard fest. Some of us do enjoy a debate without having to deal with the numbskulls in P&N.
