I was just thinking about gun control vs abortion. Why doso many pro abortion people think so poorly of guns. People who support abortion why don't you support gun rights? Both rights touch on privacy. Both right touch on body issues.(people who hunt sometimes want to eat the meat. Why are some liberals so anti gun? Misuse of a gun can mean less right as well.

I'm pro-choice and pro-guns.

What do fiscal issues have to do with school prayer. The two party system requires a huge array of issues to be adopted by only two sides.

All of the democrats I know are pro-choice and pro-gun. I think this might be regional and/or the reason new gun control legislation has fizzled.

A baby is innocent, a murderer....
Do we really have to go there and explain it to you?
If you guys are going to go down this road would you please take it to one of the rape threads and join an abortion argument already in progress>

Abortion involves freedom for women.

Guns involve freedom for (largely) men.

I'm pro choice. pro gun. pro death. pro ending drug prohibition.

It's the party faithful of the R and D camps that accept contradictory package deals in the platforms of their teams.

I find being pro death penalty to be very odd for conservatives who claim to be for small government. It seems giving the government the power to legally murder a citizen is not small government at all.

I'm pro choice, but that doesn't mean I like abortion as an option, I'm pro giving that choice.

I've never denied that I don't like guns. I dislike something that was created with the purpose of killing human beings. I am not for removing the right to bear arms, though I do feel that the 2nd Amendment requires you to ignore completely half the text to read it as an individual right (Supreme Court disagrees with me I realize). I am for what I call intelligent gun control. It does not require removal of gun rights to control it intelligently, but better enforcement of existing laws could go a long way. Fast and Furious debacle only even happened because Arizona gun laws are too lax and wouldn't allow prosecution of the suspected gun runners. Note for this discussion that there are regulations on abortion such as who can perform it and up until how late it can be performed. There need also be regulations on gun but no need to remove the right entirely.

If gun nuts were to buy guns solely for the purpose of offing themselves, I think you'd see very few liberals against it.

First step to creating a successful abortion troll thread is to call it pro-abortion.

I believe most people who say they're "pro-choice" are really "pro-abortion" because there are many choices they wouldn't be "pro". So I think it fits. Like I wouldn't consider you pro-choice dank69.

I'm pro-choice and pro-gun. I've met a lot of anti-gun people in this liberal hamlet I inhabit, but their position seems highly hypocritical since they're almost universally in favor of legalizing drugs while criminalizing guns. Fucking hippies.

It's a myth that liberals are anti-gun. Some of them don't mind you believing that myth, but it's still just a myth. The fact is, liberals are as pro-gun as anyone else. After all, you never hear them complain about all the guns the government has, they only complain about the guns the citizens have.

So why is that? Why do liberals love the government having guns but hate the citizens having guns? Because they believe in an all-powerful government, just as Christians believe in an all-powerful God. If the citizens have enough guns to prevent the government from being all-powerful and fully authoritative, then liberals just aren't happy.

North Korea, China, and the Soviet Union are examples of what liberals want for America.
