I have just installed a dual boot on my machine, Win98se was already running nicely so I partioned my 30GB HD, so Win2k could be installed.
The main reason for doing this was everyone says keep Win98se for games etc as its better. But on my setup I can shortcut to Unreal Tornament in W2k and it actually runs faster than on Win98?! is this right?
All my apps run faster..the boot is not as quick but once thats done its storming along!!
I thought W2k was a slower OS as it had more enchancements?? obviously wrong.
Also I have heard its a pain to install w2k on the KT7 motherboard..but again I find the oposite, the OS installed, the the imfamous VIA drivers 4.27a and then my g400 drivers and it just works unlike stories I have heard.
And one more thing...how come my 2 IDE CDROM and 1 IDE HD show up as SCSI devices???
