So I'm out in a restaurant with my parents and another family..and during the course of it, my mom notices the son from the other family being really nice to his mom and all, being real "gentlemanly". Then we go home, and my mom complains how nice this guy is and all, and complains that I'm not more like him.

That's when my dad jumps in and reveals that he (the boy from the other family) is, indeed, a homosexual (which I feel there is nothing wrong with being, especially if you're going to be as nice as this guy was, albeit his "influence" on my mom was a bit annoying). So anyway my mom kind of starts retracting everything she says about being more like him, which I think on a sole purpose of principles is wrong, but hey okay.

That is all, if you're dissapointed with my story refunds are available, just send a $3 check to me to cover my expenses.

Please clarify, the grammar in this sentence indicates that your father is the one that is the homosexual, do you actually mean that the son of the family friend is actually the hommsexual? Not that there is anything wrong with that.

<<edit>> Damn, you people are just too fast on the responses, even at 4am.

Eek I can't believe you people. I mean I can see how you'd think that but I can't see how you'd think that, especially when I make it obvious that I refer back to the boy in the final sentences.

Thanks for editing your post, it is much clearer now.

BTW, are you going to do what your mother said and start acting more like that nice young man?

j/k

Hmm, that could mean one of two things, and the answer to both is no, and no.

is your mom and dads marriage going okay at this point? Did your dad invite the other families son to dinner? How did you all get together. This is interesting.

LOL, good story, but I have a couple of questions to ask:

Who's your daddy and what does he do?

And I thought you were raised by parents with open minds!
