I Wanted to put this up on Monday, but our cable was down . . .
I would like to congradulate UQ for his dedication to our country, and his service of 20 years as equity on our freedoms.
He did the time in the service, dedicated to his job, his job performance, and his Country.
He retired last Friday, and woke up Monday morning in civilian life - almost for the first time since before Ronald Reagan was President.
He would have been fresh to the service, just a few years after when the Iranian Hostage thing went down, and most likely highly
motivated to do anything that our country would have authorized to help his fellow Americans be safely released from their captors.
Think about all the world events that have transpired since he first joined, and him reaching his chosen end to his career.
Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush-2, that's 4 presidencys, if it was really early Carter was just exiting, that would make 5.
Quite a bit of history to bear witness to from the perspective of a Navy man.
Thank you Dave, your time was well spent, and your service is deeply appreciated.
I salute you.
Kirk
