I'm not up to letting this thread die until I have an answer to this matters.

This is a one month bump,

I've posted this thread, asked the mods in the most educated manner and still I didn't get a single answer...

Come on, Mods, is it Yes or No?

Thanks again

From the Forum FAQ (DC folks don't like this one ;) )

<< 1. If you are having a problem with the forums, please post them in Forum Issues. You are not guaranteed a response, but staff do periodically check the category >>

Color me ass-ish (another coined phrase for Hoss. woo), but you could always start a clear, well-thought out recruitment post in one or more of the other forums and, at the same time, zap off a PM to a moderator. If they don't mind, it stays. If they feel all persnickitty about it, it goes. I'm not huge into the DC stuff myself though occasionally I'll set up a client to run stuff. I don't see any problem with an occasional thread asking that folks contribute their unused computer time.

One question the post would need to answer (for me, at least), would be "Why should I care?". I'm all for it, but the more a thread can actually convince me and not just beg, the better :)

As for posts, I say just post the damn thing :) (maybe start one in OT, for example) and don't bump the hell out of it, at least unless there's at least a measure of new info/comments. Request a stickification and if it flies, it'll happen. Enough with the pussyfootin' around. You want members, so go get 'em. Worst case scenario: the thread gets locked/deleted.

Hoss,

I PM'ed the Mods a few weeks ago, and I was 'promised' a response. I know it is nothing compared with

<< guaranteed a response >>

but I think it's still worth the shoot.

Has for the contents of the Recruitment post, I think we'll have a team vote on the text so that it doesn't leave any doubt on the ppl that read it.

Like I said before in this thread:

<< I just feel its right to ask for permission before bending the Forum Rules a bit. >>

So with that opinion in mind I don't feel confortable in starting recruitment threads on other Forums without permission since it is an off-topic issue.
