A single Win 7 computer is not seeing my NAS.

No luck with it. This "Attempting to connect..." window remained indefinitely until I manually canceled it. You will note that the address has changed. I changed it from within the Netcenter settings just to see if it would have any affect. It did not.

Start > Control Panel > Folder options > View, scroll to the bottom and make sure "Use sharing Wizard" is checked off.

If this doesn't work, I'm all out of ideas. maybe a reload
