A single Dell 2001FP or dual 19" crt's?

Basicly I'm trying to decide which way to go. I've never had dual monitors but I hear it's great. I have used a 2001fp before and it's really nice but you can get a pair of 19" crt's for the price of a 2001fp.

Any recommendations? If you were going to buy one or the other right now, which would you choose?

EDIT: By the way, my computer use includes gaming, web design, watching dvd's, and browsing in pretty much equal portions.

EDIT 2: For the sake of argument, assume that desk space is not a factor.

EDIT 2: Does anyone care to comment on the 2001fp's gaming performance? I've never gamed on one although I have heard that they are good at it.

I wouldn't use dual CRTs as I don't have the desk space. That's a lot of real estate. Dual 19" LCDs would be nice.

I've run dual monitors for about 4 years now with various configurations. I have landed on one LCD and one CRT as I cannot afford to purchase another LCD, but I would if I could.

Single 2001FP now, get another one when you've got some more money.

I do prefer dual monitors, but the 2001FP is such a nice monitor that I would sacrifice dual monitors for a while!

Yup. ^^

Edit: Hmm gaming? Hmm, I haven't used the 2001FP so I don't know if there's any ghosting.

widescreen monitors make NO sense unless it's for a tv.

think about it, everything to do with pc's is up-down.. you scroll up and down.. not side to side. Why would you make a screen wider, and SHORTER?? no sense..

plus it's lower res...

2001fp all the way.

???

why would you take two big CRTs if you "like the desktop real estate"?!?
DVI LCDs blow away CRTs for image quality and don't bombard your brain with radiation.

CRTs are the past. buying a new one is just silly. A used one for a good deal, maybe, but there's no way I'll ever go back. I gave away my 20" and 19" CRTs and only keep a 15" around for working on other people's systems.
