I have been using the name Jzero online for 10 years, and today, a random soul in Battle.Net was able to identify the source of it. This marks only the 3rd time in those 10 years that someone could identify it.

That guy is either 30 years old, or maybe there is hope for some of today's youth :)

Well I ain't got nothing,
But it don't worry me
I came to this life like a free-walking tree
No need to be tied, no need to be--
They call me Jzero.

That's amazing! I'm going to buy you a pizza!
Did you look that up, or did you know it off the top of your head???

Well I ain't got nothing
And to nothing I belong
You won't find me right,
Yet you won't find me wrong
If you think about me,
Don't thing too long--
Jus' call me Jzero.

I looked it up.

Yahoo search does wonders. Now, about that free pizza:D

So why did you pick that for your handle anyway?

LOL
If you can identify where "That was amazing! I'm buying you a pizza!" came from, I'll consider it :D

I dunno. When I was in 8th grade (1992), I stole my dad's vinyl collection and began building it. Someone saw Cat Steven's Greatest Hits at a yard sale and bought it for me and I really liked it.
So I bought more Cat Stevens albums, one of them being the fairly obscure album this song came from, and I always thought it was awesome. That enigmatic guy who just shows up in town empty-handed and takes everyone by storm, doing the work no one else would do, and completely inspiring anyone he meets. A guy who is free of worldly ties and being stuck on things like money, status and job.
Seems like a cool way to be, and while I'm a gadget nut, I've still tried to live my life to that same sort of ideal. In short, I always wanted to be Jzero...

Well that year we got our first computer and I started BBSing. I needed a handle. I first started using lukeskywalker, but after a couple times, I decided that was stupid. I wanted a name that not a lot of people knew, but that could have a potentially significant meaning if you knew what it was, or took the time to find out.
And, it was finally my chance to "be Jzero." 10 years hence, here we are.

I still haven't gotten up the courage to respond "Just call me Jzero" when I meet someone new ;)
