LOL, I need more cores and threads.
I run DAW. This 3820 is fast and powerful. But the reason I got this mobo cuz I knew Ivy E was coming out. Its been 9 months Ive had rig, no complaints and I know games barely take advantage of 4 cores
I had my eye set on 4930k Ivy. Now the time has come.
12 threads and I amn not gonna upgarde anything but video card until 2020.
Its a sidegrade but one that brings 4 more threads..
All this for x64 HT Sonar X2 Producer has it.
