I estimated he was mid 20's what I didn't guess was that he LOOKS like he's a fresman in highschool.

😛 Sorry to disappoint.

Yep, my family has always been cursed with looking unnaturally young. At 30 my dad looked about 20 tops.

Glad to hear that I still need to gain more weight 😀 dang fatties make it hard for us skinny folk to get cheep good fitting cloths. (I've never heard of express men).

Hit up thetiebar.com and get 3-4 ties marked "skinny". Each is probably going to cost all of $15 and the quality is great. Get a couple of pocket squares while you're at it, actually.

Pocket squares.. Hmm, never really would have considered putting them in. Is the rule "The square should match the tie" or "The square should match the shirt." Or some other fashion rule I have yet to discover (there are so many).

Also, I should note that besides this red shirt, the only other color I have is white (and a fair amount of them). 🙁 I'm sad so many here don't like it on me, I actually really like the red shirt.

I'm guessing the color is fine in real life (doesn't look so good in the pic, but it's from a crappy webcam as you say), but really it just doesn't seem to fit you that well. It looks way too big for you.

Suit is for a regular formal occasion. Nothing special like clubbing or anything.

The belt buckle really is quite small, http://www.hotbuckles.com/ The buckle on the title page looks like it is bigger then the belt buckle. (This is just a random belt buckle webpage btw.)

As for the "You're young." Well, I don't really consider 25 to be THAT young. But I do realize I look like a 12 year old. If it helps a little I am 6'1.

🙂 Probably the best solution for me is to start weight lifting to try and fill the shirt better. It doesn't help that I have pencil arms.
 
If you want to play it safe, have the square compliment (note that I did not say match) your shirt, but it really doesn't need to match anything. Just don't get anything obnoxious (ie. anything that looks like something on this page). Go solid colour and cotton.

The red shirt is awful. I don't know why people are down on plain white shirts (no pockets, no extravagant details). It takes a lot of work to look bad in a crisply ironed, perfectly white collared shirt.

Eh not that it's a bad goal, but that can take a lot of time, just buy some fitted shirts.

Not so much that I'm down on it. I just wear it all the time.

As for the ties. yeah, I like pretty plain ties. Stripes or solid colors are what I like the best. I don't own any puke patterned ties.

Ah, that explains your penchant for really loud shirts. Still, you're breaking a cardinal rule* of wearing suits: Neither your shirt nor your tie should compete for attention with the actual suit. You're wearing a shirt and tie with your suit, not your suit with your shirt or tie.

You have the same problem with ties. You're not supposed to draw attention to the tie, it's a complimentary piece. I'd throw out all of the ones you picked and go with:

Reasoning: Everyone needs a simple black necktie; burgundy is a nice complimentary colour to dark grey; a black knit tie looks great for slightly less formal summer events.

* There really are no rules, only personal opinion.
