I always liked the idea of wearing shitkickers like that but I just don't think I could pull it off. My sisters ex husband wore them every day but they lived in AZ and worked on a ranch so he just fit that look when wearing them.

I'm a guy in my mid thirties living in the mid west with a wife and two kids.....

I was lucky I guess. My mom let me pick out my clothes. And I got compliments that I was always best dressed. LOL Even combed my own damn hair! Did my laundry in the 5th grade.

my stepsister is an internationally famous horsewoman, so she knows boots .....
as for me, I user Lariat paddock boots for my motorcycles.
Great ankle coverage, around 8 inches tall, and they polish up and look like good dress shoes under slacks when I'm making clients rich. And they're both comfy and inexpensive (under $400) so I just donate and buy new when it's time for new laces.

Used to get Brown, but lately I've been getting Dr. Who black.
