A Scanner Darkly

I got stuck halfway through the book. I guess I should finish it before I see the movie.

Linkletter (sp?) + Philip K Dick = Undoubtedly AWESOME!

go keanu!

this movie is like anime, but with real people... and not really real... but not really anime... moving vectors? 😕

Our local paper gave it 4 out of 4 stars, and RT is at 66% right now.

I'm planning on seeing it this when it comes to the drafthouse (hopefully).

It uses a technique caled rotoscoping, you have real actors then you trace over them and animate it.
One of Linklater's other movies uses it also. Waking Life

looks tacky. i saw waking life and that turned me off to the whole computer rotoscoping thing.
it doesn't really look good, its not like a real drawing of a person which would be pretty awesome, its just like a cheap looking flash animation type cartoon of a person..gah.
