well we got this riddle today in one of my classes and my teacher is offering points fo whoever can solve it, but so far none of us has been able to do it within 4 days. Maybe you guys can help me, because this thing is driving me insane. It's one of those things that you can't think of the answer, but when you find out what it is, you want to smack yourself because it was so obvious. Alright, on to the riddle.

Take a bird and a mammal (can be found in either Australia or N. America). The last 2 letters of one must be the same first 2 letters of the other. Example:

Pelican
Antelope

We needed to find another example where that is true, and we cannot use the one given.
<3 to anyone who can solve this for me.

The first and last two letters must match.

Note : The "Pe" in "PElican" matches the "pe" in AnteloPE. And, the "an" in "pelicAN" matches the An in "ANtelope."

Admit it, you had to google it to find out what an Alpaca was.

And is the cookie big?

Isn't an Alpaca from South America?

Is it limited to N. America and Australia?

I don't know, I've been thinking and only the Cardinal/Alpaca one works...You say it's supposed to be simple, but is that what your teacher said or what you assume?
