A review of an NEC floppy drive

It?s amazing, you need to buy this! My CPU and video card temps dropped 50% when I put this floppy drive in. Also, it is a work of art. You?ll spend hours just staring at it, it?s so darn beautiful. Installation was a breeze. It even tightens its own latches! But wait ? there?s more. The r/w speed is on par with my 5 drive striped raptor array, and not a sound! Best of all, all the girls think I?m really cool and good looking now, taller too!

People still use floppy drives?!
They don't start out that way, but their hard drives become floppy with age.

Anyone know of a good multi-function floppy drive in black. I need something to read my Smartmedia from my camera. Mitsumi makes one I had to return because it's not compatible with Asus boards . My camera is old enough where it uses a serial link to transfer pics.

floppy is needed to install drivers for some RAID/SATA devices when installing Windows. Getting a combo drives ensures it's not a complete waste of space even if you don't think you'll never use the "floppy" portion.
